Just Visiting
I used to be on a slow dial up connection, on slightly out of date software. Now I am on slow dial up, with really out of date software. My computer woes are still ongoing. We are trying to work them out as easily and inexpensively as possible.
Since we are not able to get the new computer we want this year, we are trying to decide about the value of buying an intermediary computer that we'd then give to the children to learn how to type and use the internet and such. Right now, I am on my old computer, which is about a decade old now, and it works, enough, but not enough.
So, it looks like we'll be saving up to get the new computer sometime between Christmas and Mother's Day, and we're hoping to get a newish, refurb or something in the next couple weeks. Until then, I am fairly limited on how much I can post here, so, I won't be as active.
We are closing in on the end of Lent now. Our readings are focused on the days leading to the Crucifixion. This Sunday is Palm Sunday, when we will again remember how quickly a crowd can turn against someone. Holy Week we will be walking through our Lord's last days on this earth. It is a solemn time and a troubling time. It might be well that I won't be able to be on the computer as much.
This year, we will be hosting the stations of the cross at our home again. We will be walking the Via Dolorosa, uphill, probably in the rain. It seems somewhat appropriate.

Jonathan has been on the road so much this past year that I am afraid he has not had time to finish the embroidery files for the Stations of the Cross. Maybe next year??
