Say it with a Straight Face

"When you take things to the courts you don't have the opportunity to engage the public in the process. You don't have the ability to build a movement," said Planned Parenthood spokeswoman Kate Looby.

Did the interviewer laugh? Did Kate Looby? Maybe they were making a joke.

While that is possible, I doubt it. If that were the case, I do not think that PP would fight so hard against anything that has a whiff of overturning Roe-v-Wade, neither do I think their statements on judges would support the theory that they are rethinking the wisdom of using the courts to achieve a certain means. Also, as I understand it, S. Dakota voted in this law.
