Sixteen Packets of Kool-Aid

That is how many it has taken to completely dye a four ounce hank of laceweight camel yarn. All of those books that said that camel did not take dye well lied! It is wet and dripping right now, so when it is dry, I will post pictures. It is a gorgeous, deep wine red. I am hoping to use it either for the loose wimple in Knitting in America or as the spiral octagonal shawl (shawlette, really) from the Summer 1998 IK issue.

Comments:
Ranee, Did you have a sale for all those Kool-Aid packs? The camel yarn looks great!!
