Menu Plan: October 25 - 31

In our continuing challenges, we are really seeking the bright moments of blessing and humor. We had Amelia and Madelyn over this weekend and were able to give Amelia her special present from her father, and play a bit with her. It was lovely.
Life is still tough and we appreciate every bright spot, every bit of encouragement, every prayer said for us. It really feels like everything is being pared down and taken to its most basic nature, and we are having to deal with how we live like that.
Our mutton should be available in two or three weeks, so we are still whittling away at our freezer and trying not to add too much to it (though, I admit, that when I see a great deal, I sometimes grab it, anyway).
We are looking forward to a day with normal life again, one that is not exciting or interesting or unusual. Please pray for us.
